How to insert an image into a PDF

  1. Open the PDF, then press the Image tool and choose a picture.
  2. Tap the page where the image should go.
  3. Resize and move it with Select: drag the body to move, the corner handle to resize.
  4. Download PDF. The image is embedded in the page at full quality.

  • Letterhead: put your logo in the top corner of a quote or invoice exported from another app.
  • Company stamp or seal: scan it once on white paper, remove the background in any photo app, and save it as PNG.

Questions people ask

Which image formats can I insert?

PNG, JPG and WebP. WebP and very large images are converted to PNG and scaled to at most 2000 pixels on the long side, which is sharp at print size and keeps the PDF small.

Will a transparent PNG stay transparent?

Yes. Transparency is kept, so a logo or stamp with a transparent background sits cleanly on top of the page.

How do I resize the image without stretching it?

Drag the round corner handle in Select mode. The editor keeps the original proportions automatically.

Does adding a photo make the PDF much bigger?

Roughly by the size of the image file. A phone photo can add a few megabytes; a logo adds a few kilobytes.
